Summer Camp Details & FAQ
- Ages 6-11 all skill levels
- Instruments include ukulele, piano, drumset and singing and option to bring an instrument from home
- Students rotate through morning and afternoon stations on each instrument, art and performance tips
- Volunteer opportunities for middle school and paid high school positions
- Camp Dates are June 10-August 9 (no camps July 1-12)
- Options to enroll for one or two week camps depending on offering
- Camps run 9am-5pm with lunches at Franklin Park 12-2pm
- We proudly have a 5:1 staff to student ratio enabling us to implement our dynamic curriculum and goal setting framework for mindful musicianship
- Sharing Concert the final Friday of camps at 4:15pm

General Information
1. What ages can attend camp?
Our camps are designed for ages 7–11, with some specialty programs available for older students.
2. What are your camp hours?
Standard camp runs 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Early drop-off and extended care may be available depending on enrollment.
3. Where is camp located?
Camps are currently held at [insert location(s): Trinity Lutheran / New Bridges UMC / other host sites]. Location details and parking info will be provided upon registration.

4. What will my child learn?
Students rotate through instrument and creativity stations including:

5. Do students need prior music experience?
No — camps are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced young musicians.
6. What instruments do campers use?
We provide all instruments. If a camper prefers to bring their own, they may do so with a labeled case.

8. How do you ensure safety during park walks and outdoor lunch?
We follow structured procedures including active supervision, spread-out staff positions, cleanliness expectations, and engagement strategies (Requests with Reason, Recapitulation, Check-Ins).

10. What is your behavior policy?
We use restorative approaches, clear expectations, and positive communication. If a behavioral issue arises, we partner with families to support students’ success.
11. What happens if my child is sick?
Please keep campers home if they have a fever, vomiting, or other contagious symptoms. We follow standard school health guidelines.
Registration & Payments
12. How do I register?
All registration is handled through Jackrabbit / Simplybook. You’ll receive confirmation and onboarding materials after enrolling.
13. Do you offer scholarships or sliding scale tuition?
Yes! We have limited scholarships available through our community partners and OMA’s equity initiative.
14. What is your refund policy?
Refunds are available up to X days before camp begins. After that, credits may be issued depending on circumstances. (We can customize this if you want a specific policy.)
Performances & Family Engagement
15. Is there a performance at the end of camp?
Yes — students present a mini-showcase of songs and creations learned during the week.
16. Can parents volunteer?
Absolutely! Ask us about options for helping with showcases, snack setup, or material prep.
Special Needs & Accommodations
17. Can you support students with IEPs, 504s, or special learning needs?
Yes — we work closely with families to understand student needs and create a supportive environment. Please share relevant info during registration so we can plan appropriately.
Meals & Health
18. Do you provide lunch or snacks?
- Campers bring their own food. We maintain a nut-aware environment but cannot guarantee a nut-free campus.
- Tortilla chips, Cheerios, Pretzels, Apples, Mandarin Oranges, Strawberry-Banana Smoothies, Bagels with Creme Cheese (in the morning)
19. What is your medication policy?
- Staff can store and supervise administration of medication with proper documentation. Meds must be clearly labeled.
