Ozzy's Music Academy

Kids Bands:
Tuesday/Thursday Band Workshops Level: suited for students discovering beat, instrument technique, scales, chords, form, and notation, Great for beginning ukulele and piano players as well as aspiring drummers! Students will learn the basics of song form and technique required to play along with bandmates. Students often study 1-3 songs on one or two instruments.

Franklin Group: Pickup options for 2:50 and 3:30 pm from aftercare.
Love Elementary: Pickup at 2:50pm from Love 

Devastator Kids Band:
This is OMA's premiere audition rockband. Students are expected to study music daily and prepare a setlist to perform when invited to local events and festivals. Students should have one or more years of study or equivalent as determined by audition when joining and be able to practice at home no less than FIVE days per week. 

Songwriters Workshop: 
Songwriters workshop is an immersive program where young creatives explore their inner songwriters compass by discovering melody, lyric writing, song form, improvisation, song arranging, theory, and performance techniques. Students will write and record at least one original song. As the year progresses, students will create a music video and launch/share their creations at a local coffee house concert and other local venues.
