Spooky Scary Songs Fall 2025!
Thanks for dropping by to see our after-school offerings for the 2025 School Year
Join us as we develop mindful musicianship playing in ensembles, improvising, studying form, melody, chords and many more possiblities!
Kids build teamwork skills, have fun, learn rehearsal strategies, and develop their musician's mindfulness on the way to seasonal concerts while studying one or more instruments from the modern bandstand.

Kids Bands:
Tuesday/Thursday Band Workshops: suited for students versed in beat, instrument technique, scales, chords, form, and notation, Great for musicians with 1 year of lessons! Students will learn the basics of song form and technique required to play along with bandmates. Students will study 1-3 songs on one or two instruments.
CLUB OMA with Pickup Group:
Wednesday 2-6pm with pickup Group
Club OMA Music As A Second Language for Gifted Students: Afternoon Supervision is a great pairing to private lessons at OMA. This allows Students to stay at OMA and collaborate with other students in a musical and play-based setting. At OMA we foster more than just note awareness. Students build fluency through reading and technical practice in collaboration with their peers.
Songwriters Workshop:
Songwriters workshop is an immersive program where young creatives explore their inner songwriters compass by discovering melody, lyric writing, song form, improvisation, song arranging, theory, and performance techniques. Students will write and record at least one original song. As the year progresses, students will create a music video and launch/share their creations at a local coffee house concert and other local venues.

Group Drumming Waitlist
Group Drumming Class Waitlist:
Students study rhythm syllables and basic techniques, patterns and rudiments essential to ensemble playing and readying drum and rhythm notation. Includes basic rudiments, rock back beat patterns, and fills. Student or OMA Teacher/Ozzy chooses a song for study and performance in group concert at the end of the term.
