Summer Camps 2023

Details about our Summer 2023 Camps

Our Camps:
- 9-3pm with 3-5pm supervision available for additional fee
- Camp rates $495 or $595 with Instrument
- School Instruments available
- Group Performance Games, 
- Small group and individual instruction
- Daily Mindfulness based group Games
- Outdoor game time (if a POD-safe Studio Camp)
- Students will create music art projects and play music games outdoors.
- Individual Achievement Awards
- Differentiated Goals for all types of skill levels
- Peer Teaching
- Options to study/experiment on additional instruments during choice time after competency demonstrated on chosen instrument

Summer Music 101: Beginning ukulele and Piano June 16-18: 
This camp will introduce your student to the basics of beat, rhythm, strumming, melody, and chords on the ukulele or piano.

Great Camp for Beginners!
Beginners and Early Musicians: 
Beginning 'Rock' Band June -25:​
  • Instruments taught at this camp include ukulele, bass, piano, drums, and vocals.
  • Students will learn basic techniques for strumming, melody playing, basic drum patterns, tips for strong confident singing and song forms.

Great Camp for Beginners!

"Summer Fun & Sea Shanties"
Beginning Uke + Piano: June 28- July 2:
  • Students at this camp will choose Ukulele or Piano to learn for the show.
  • Students will have opportunities to learn additional instruments from their peers and teachers in after showing competency on their first choice instrument
  • Instruments taught at this camp include ukulele and piano. 
  • Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques for strumming, melody playing, and chords. 
  • Students may have an opportunity to perform at the Hyde Street Chanty Sing (Covid precautions permitting)

Beginning 'Rock' Band: July 12-16:
  • Students at this camp will choose between Ukulele, Piano, Bass or Piano to learn for the show.
  • Instruments taught at this camp include ukulele and piano. 
  • Students will learn basic to intermediate techniques for percussion, strumming, melody playing, singing, and chords.

"Girls Rock"
Beginning Girls 'Rock' Band: July 19-23:
  • Girls at this camp will choose between Ukulele, Piano, Bass or Piano to learn for the show. 
  • Girls will learn basic to intermediate techniques for percussion, strumming, melody playing, singing, and chords on their chosen instrument.

"Get Lost in It: Trombone is For Everyone"
Beginning Brass Camp: August 2-6:
  • Featuring International and Broadway touring Trombone Guest Teacher Brian Morgan
  • Students at this camp will learn the basics of sound production, tone, scales, pitch matching and improvisation.

Ukulele and Piano Camp: August 9-13:
  • Students at this camp may choose between Ukulele and Piano
  • Students at this camp will learn basics of strumming, chords and melody for their favorite Disney and Movie Songs!

"Schools Out! Beginning Band- Berkeley @ Live Oak Park"
Ukulele and Piano Camp: June 7-11:
  • Students at this camp may choose between Ukulele, UBass, Cajon, Vocals, and Piano
  • Students at this camp will learn basics of strumming, singing: memorization, technique and breathing, chords, and melody for some all time easy and fun songs!
